It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charlie Quagliata, founder and Director of Tuff Manufacturing Pty Ltd.

Charlie passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on Saturday 21st May. He is survived by his wife Allyson, and his daughter and grandchildren.

Charlie spent most of his life involved with manufacturing hydraulic cylinders. At an age when most people would be looking at retirement, Charlie started Tuff Manufacturing in partnership with friend and fellow director Chris Kennedy. Charlie’s knowledge, experience and tireless hard work got the company off the ground, and five years on Tuff are one of Australia’s premier hydraulic cylinder manufacturers.
